In his first interview since returning to Australia to head up 72andSunny, Micah Walker chats with Nathan Lennon and Dave Gibson from Hawke’s Brewing Co.
Micah, who has just recently returned to Australia to head up 72andSunny helped produce some of Australia’s most unique and memorable work. After working for Leo Burnett around the World. He left Leo Burnett Sydney in 2003 to join Fallon London in the role of creative director and partner, where he stayed for four years, during the agency’s renowned creative run. In 2007 Micah returned to Australia to take up the role of ECD at Publicis Mojo Sydney, where he stayed until his departure from the agency in 2011. Walker went on to join The Monkeys in 2012 in the role of creative partner until returning to the US in 2013 to fill the role of ECD at Wieden + Kennedy Portland.
David Gibson and Nathan Lennon are a multi internationally-awarded Creative Director team with extensive experience in the Australasian, UK and US markets.
They spent their earlier years in Sydney and London, working at various leading agencies, including BBH, before returning to Sydney in 2008. They spent the following six years at Publicis Mojo, Lowe and Drog5 before starting up the highly successful Hawke’s Brewing Co in Sydney.
