Dave Bowman started his career at Whybin Lawrence TBWA Sydney, after an extended work experience placement practically forced Neil Lawrence to offer him a job as a 21st birthday present. His next move was to Saatchi and Saatchi New Zealand, working under the creative guidance of the legendary Mike O’Sullivan for 3 years before heading to Droga5 New York. Coming home to Australia, Dave joined Saatchi & Saatchi Sydney before making a return to the TBWA network where he spent five years as ECD with his long time creative partner Matty Burton. The two left TBWA in 2014 to establish Special Group in Australia. Most recently, Dave and Matty have joined Google, leading the Google Zoo operation throughout the Asia Pacific region. Dave has won countless awards and lives in Sydney with his wife and children.
